Destine with me to stay at Greece’s most desired hotel

How about you reach the boatshed and board a boat to Spinalonga? Well, if you are, then get ready to experience something unique. This beautiful place calls for a stress-free enjoyment that will give you a fantastic life experience. All you have to do is wait for the high season to finish to visit the place worry-free.

There is a little fishing village called Plaka on the northeastern coast of Crete in Greece. People here live a slow and contented life that might be out of your league, but you will get habituated to it, because well, you are going to enjoy it. If you do not want to end up doing a great deal of trekking in the scorching heat, it is recommended to go early in the morning.

Spinalonga Greek National Monument in the Gulf of Elounda

Spinalonga is dwelling to a combination of Turkish ruins and Medieval Venetian, which includes a few shops, a fortress along with the turn of this century. Where life dwelt until 1953, back in 1903, the Cretan State declared the island for those who are suffering from leprosy. It is available and uninhabited for visitation for a minimum of $8.

Therefore, Spinalonga’s air still imagines a group of men and women, and its recent historical past characterizing about the ones who dwelt there, in complete seclusion. The area seems claustrophobic. At the very least, they had the magic perspective over the bay and also surrounding Katselios hills to soothe their pain and isolation. This site must have become the little happiness they found in sorrow.

Blue Palace resort and spa on Elounda bay

Sinalonga aside from being a UNESCO protected tourist hotspot, has a Blue palace located on the opposite side of the shore. The resort is ideally placed as each window, and each door will show you the perfect view of the island. If you are there as a guest, you might stop once every day in front of view to either take photos or continue sightseeing.

Blue Palace is built on a hill reachable via a unique cable car, which is over three floors. The glass-walled, panoramic pod, goes up and down the slope at a pace slow enough to both admire the sea view and glimpse at guests enjoying a dip in their private infinity pool. If you are looking to enjoy this feature, 70 percent of the 251 rooms come with this luxury feature.

On the ground floor, you’ll get the pebble beach, Haven lounge bar and Isola beach club, a saltwater outdoor swimming pool, and the Elounda spa complex including an indoor heated pool, alongside saunas and fitness facilities. The spa menu is endless with just about every sort of treatment conceivable, from thalassotherapy and twenty-five distinct types of facials to massages that are Indian. Well, the therapy is not for the faint-hearted people. You’ll be sent into a realm of pleasurable pain from your therapist.

The Isola beach club has a bohemian vibe. Think clay lanterns hanging from canopy trees all around and a structure in the shape of a Mitato – a conventional shepherd’s house. Then there’s the Haven, reserved exclusively for Private Villas and the Island Luxury Suites, which is equipped with loungers and parasols that come like lifestyle publications and organic sunscreen with baskets of goodies that are free. From there, you can jump onboard a traditional caique and enjoy a cruise, including wine and cheese tasting.
